Re:  IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING NAME CHANGE

I would like to advise you personally about some changes we are going to make to improve our service to customers such as yourself. In February of this year I wrote to advise you about the acquisition of Maintech by Freedom. At around the same time, Freedom also acquired Baineport Engineering Services, another company who supply high voltage engineering services to customers with their own HV networks. Since this time we have been working on the integration of both companies into Freedom and looking to utilise the obvious synergies.

I am pleased to announce that from September 1st 2006 the private network offering from both companies will be operating under one banner which is Freedom Network Solutions. This company will operate from the Maintech head office in Ipswich with all of the existing Maintech staff and a number of key Baineport staff being seconded in to support the continuity of the service you currently enjoy.

Your contract cover will continue as before, this change will not effect the terms and conditions or the price you pay. We are combining our standby rotas to give a greater coverage of experienced and qualified staff that are available to respond to you in the event of an out of hours incident on your network.

Over time, all existing Baineport and Maintech branding will be replaced by the Freedom logo and all future correspondence will be on Freedom Network Solutions letter-headed paper.

Freedom now has 1,000 employees based at locations all around the country and is a leading provider of distribution engineering service to public and private network owners.
