Safe Entrance to substations

The course is designed for non-high voltage people would need to enter high voltage substations for various reasons (i.e. meter reading etc). It trains them to carry out their work safely and have an appreciation of the dangers of high voltage equipment.

Course AP 002

High Voltage switching

The course covers high voltage switching operations on your network. The delegates should have a basic understanding of electrical networks. The course covers your electrical system, safe systems of work and a practical exercise (a ring system or a shutdown may be required for on site operations). Emergency fault switching is also covered. This course does not however, allow the delegates to issue safety documents.

SAP refresher

The course is a refresher for authorised and senior authorised engineers in current legislation's and switching practices

Course length 1-3 day

With all three courses the current Health & Safety regulations are covered, as well as permit to Work systems and any on site safety rules.

All delegates will receive course notes and a certificate of training upon completion.
